Aerox Precision Services is a precision manufacturing company in Yorba Linda, California. We run wire EDM, sinker EDM, hole-popping EDM, industrial 3D printing and laser part marking on one floor, for aerospace, defense, medical and industrial programs. Work ranges from single prototypes to 10,000-piece production runs, and every job is quoted within 24 hours by the engineer who would program it.
What is Aerox Precision Services?
Aerox is a contract manufacturer specialising in electrical discharge machining. Rather than offering a broad menu of processes, we concentrate on the work that is difficult to place elsewhere: parts that are already hardened, features too small or too deep for a cutter, and geometry where tool pressure would distort the part.
We are not a general machine shop and do not offer CNC milling or turning. Customers typically come to us as a specialist supplier alongside their existing machining sources, or when a job has been quoted elsewhere and declined.
Where is Aerox located?
Aerox Precision Services LLC is at 23231 La Palma Ave, Yorba Linda, CA 92887, in northeast Orange County. That places us within a short drive of most of the county’s manufacturing base, and inside about 45 minutes of the South Bay aerospace corridor.
We serve Orange County, Anaheim, Irvine and Los Angeles County directly, and ship across the United States.
What services does Aerox provide?
Five processes, all in-house:
- Wire EDM — submerged 4-axis cutting to ± 0.0001″ at any hardness, including 70+ HRC tool steel and carbide. No cutting force, no burr and no heat-affected distortion.
- Sinker EDM — blind cavities, deep narrow ribs and effectively sharp internal corners burned into fully hardened material, with mirror finishes to 4 µin Ra.
- Hole-popping EDM — high-speed drilling from 0.004″ diameter at aspect ratios past 200:1, including cooling passages, wire start holes and broken tap removal.
- Industrial 3D printing — dual-nozzle FDM in engineering polymers and carbon-filled composites such as PPS-CF, PPA-CF, PC and nylon, for fixtures, prototypes and low-volume parts.
- Laser part marking — fiber laser marking to MIL-STD-130, ATA Spec 2000 and UDI, with serialisation, 2D data matrix and in-line mark grading.
Which industries does Aerox serve?
Aerospace, defense, medical device and industrial manufacturing. In practice that means structural fittings and turbine detail for aerospace programmes, ITAR-controlled assemblies and optics mounts for defense, instrument bodies and implant-adjacent parts for medical device makers, and die details, extrusion tooling and production fixtures for industrial customers.
What materials can Aerox cut?
Because EDM removes material by electrical discharge rather than cutting force, hardness is not a limitation. We routinely work Ti-6Al-4V, Inconel 625 and 718, Waspaloy, hardened D2, A2, M2 and H13 tool steel, carbide, 440C, 316L stainless, copper tungsten and molybdenum. Anything electrically conductive can be cut regardless of how hard it is.
What certifications does Aerox hold?
AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified, ITAR registered, DFARS compliant and Nadcap accredited. Certificates and our quality manual are available on request. First-article inspection reports with full dimensional layout, material certifications and a certificate of conformance ship as standard; CMM reports, GD&T layouts and PPAP packages are available on request.
How do you request a quote?
Send a STEP, IGES or PDF print with the quantity and required date through the quote form, or email it to quotes@aerox.aero. A firm price, process routing and a committed ship date come back within 24 hours from the engineer who would run the job.
If you are not sure which process your part needs, the process finder asks three questions about material, feature and tolerance and routes you to the right capability. For export-controlled technical data, contact us before uploading so a compliant transfer method can be arranged.
