FAQ
Quoting, tolerances, certifications and lead times — answered by the engineers who run the jobs.
How fast can I get a quote?
Within 24 hours of receiving a print or STEP file, guaranteed. Send quantity, material and required date and the quote comes back from the engineer who would program the job.
What tolerances can you actually hold?
± 0.0002″ is routine across sinker EDM and additive work, and ± 0.0001″ is repeatable on wire EDM. Anything tighter, we will tell you up front what the process capability is instead of quoting and hoping.
Can you cut hardened material?
Yes. Wire and sinker EDM cut at any hardness, including 70+ HRC tool steel and carbide, so parts can be hardened before finishing rather than after.
Are you AS9100 certified and ITAR registered?
AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified, ITAR registered, DFARS compliant and Nadcap accredited. Certificates and our quality manual are available on request.
What is your expedite lead time?
Three days on qualified EDM and additive jobs, two days on wire EDM details, same day on broken-tap rescue work. Expedite capacity is reserved daily rather than promised and backfilled.
Will you take low quantities?
Single prototypes through 10,000-piece production runs. Most of our work sits between 5 and 500 pieces with repeat releases.
What inspection documentation comes with the parts?
First-article inspection reports with full dimensional layout, material certs, and CoC as standard. CMM reports, GD&T layouts and PPAP packages on request.
Can you hold customer-owned tooling and material?
Yes, with bonded storage and documented traceability. Consignment material is receipt-inspected and logged against your part number.
